About Katarina Witt
Katarina Witt (German pronunciation: [ˈkataʁiːna vɪt]; born 3 December 1965) is a retired German figure skater. Witt won two Olympic gold medals for East Germany, first at the 1984 Sarajevo Olympics and the second at the 1988 Calgary Olympics.
In addition to her athletic prowess, Katarina Witt gained attention for her bold move to pose for Playboy magazine. In 1998, she appeared in a nude pictorial for the publication, sparking discussions about athletes' choices to express their sensuality beyond the sports arena.
